Introducing Pay4You’s new Advisory Board

As Pay4You enters its next phase of growth, we are proud to announce the formation of our Advisory Board. The board brings together deep expertise in payments, fintech, corporate finance, and scaling businesses across Europe and beyond. Lourens Stamhuis, founder of Pay4You, will serve as Chair of the Advisory Board. We are also pleased to welcome two highly experienced leaders as members of the Advisory Board: Jan Bellens and Gerro Goedhuis.
Lourens Stamhuis, founder of Pay4You, will serve as Chair of the Advisory Board. With more than thirty years of experience in Corporate Business Travel and payment optimization, Lourens has consistently viewed payments not as a back office function, but as a strategic driver of efficiency and sustainable growth.
“With over 30 years of experience in Corporate Business Travel, including 18 years as co-founder and owner of a Travel Management Company, I have led European and global projects for international clients. Together with my business partner, I built, scaled, and later sold the company, a defining chapter in my entrepreneurial journey. Throughout my career, the optimization of sales, client services and payment processes has been central. I see payments not as a back-office function, but as a strategic enabler of efficiency and sustainable growth. Building on my expertise in Payment for Travel, I founded Payment for Non-Strategic Spend and created, developed, and invested in Pay4You. Besides my role as Chair of the Advisory Board of Pay4You, I am active in advisory and strategic roles, serve on the Supervisory Board of a Care Hotel (Zorghotel De Kim), and am deeply committed to social impact, having co-founded Project-Senegambia.com with my partner to support a local community and school in Senegal.”
Jan Bellens brings a unique international track record, from contributing to the creation of large European financial institutions to helping modernize banking in China, accelerating digital banking and fintech in growth markets, and advising United States banks on strategies for growth and success. He now brings this experience to support the future of European financial services and the growth of Pay4You.

Gerro Goedhuis adds more than twenty seven years of senior experience in wholesale banking and corporate finance. His background includes syndicated loans, relationship banking roles in Amsterdam and London, and building a fintech within ING that was successfully spun out. Today, he supports large international clients with complex financing needs and will help Pay4You scale to the next level.
“Having spent 27 years in senior positions in wholesale banking within the largest financial institution of the Netherlands, I now have the privilege to service large, international clients with their financing needs. Through my company and with partners I help CFOs and treasurers organising debt packages, often through so-called syndicated loans.
My journey within ING entailed (managerial) roles in syndicated loans in Amsterdam and London and relationship banking. Furthermore, I spent 18 months building a fintech within ING that was successfully spun out. I am eager to deploy my experience to help Pay4You move to the next level.”
