2025 was a breakthrough year for Pay4You
We doubled our team, strengthened our product with major partners like Adyen, Mastercard, ICS and Medius, and introduced a bold new marketing positioning that makes tail-end spend tangible — with a twist of humour.
After a long journey of growth since the transition to Pay4You—marked by strong developments, the establishment of a Senior Management Team, the entry of investors, new clients, and high-quality partners, founder Lourens Stamhuis has decided to pass on his role as CEO to Melvin van Wingerden as of January 2026. Melvin brings over 25 years of fintech and commercial leadership experience and will guide Pay4You into its next chapter. Lourens, Founder, will continue supporting Pay4You in his new role as Chair of the Advisory Board.
Together with Sander Bootsma (CTO) and Haron Shah (CFO), the new leadership team sets a strong foundation for the next scale-up phase.
